Our goal at Potter Hill Farm is to create a robust agricultural ecosystem in which to raise nutritious vegetables, small grains, and livestock in a manner that builds the fertility of the soil, adds vitality to the local community, and beautifies the landscape.
In our first year of production, we will be raising a mix of heirloom vegetables, all grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Heirloom vegetables are those that have been selected by small farmers and gardeners for generations for their superb flavor and regional adaptations.
We are also raising grass-fed beef. Currently, we are selling individually wrapped and frozen cuts directly from the farm. We will also being offering beef in bulk by the side or half-side. Feel free to come up to the farm check out our two Belted Galloway heifers. You just might catch them up in the barn by the road.
In season, we will be selling our produce from the garden at the Grafton Farmers Market, on Thursdays from 2PM – 6:30PM starting on June 30th. We will also be selling pre-ordered vegetables directly from the farm. Here’s how it works:
- We’ll send you the Weekly Harvest newsletter on Friday, listing everything we currently have for sale.
- You send us your order before 8pm on Sunday.
- We’ll harvest and box up your order for you on Monday.
- You come up to the farm after 4pm on Monday to get your order. Please bring your own bag.
